ABOUT ME
Hello!
I am a Registered Dietitian regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively within the National Health Service (NHS), gaining experience across a range of clinical specialities including gastroenterology, neurology, community health, and ageing & complex medicine. I have also held leadership and service development roles, including managing a dietetic team and developing an IBS community pathway within the NHS to help improve access to care and promote greater equality of support for people living with IBS.
My passion lies in helping people improve their health and quality of life through personalised, evidence-based nutrition support. Through GastroMatters, I provide expert dietetic care for individuals living with conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Coeliac Disease, Diverticular Disease, those recovering from bowel surgery, and many other digestive health concerns.
Outside of work, I am a proud family man and enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones. I am also a keen dog lover, and much of my free time is spent walking, playing, and exploring with my Cavapoo, Winnie, who keeps me active and entertained.
Together, we’ll create a personalised nutrition plan that works for you, helping you manage your symptoms, enjoy food again, and feel more like yourself.
I understand that digestive symptoms can have a significant impact on daily life, affecting not only physical health but also confidence, social situations, and overall wellbeing. That's why I take the time to understand your unique circumstances, concerns, and goals before developing a tailored approach that works for you.
My clients often tell me that they appreciate my approachable, relaxed, and non-judgemental style. I believe that the best outcomes are achieved when people feel listened to, supported, and involved in their care. I aim to create a comfortable environment where you can openly discuss your symptoms and challenges, knowing that you will receive compassionate and professional support.
While my recommendations are always guided by the latest scientific evidence, I recognise that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. Every person is different, and I am committed to providing practical, realistic advice that fits into your lifestyle and supports long-term success.
